Open Settings, enable Save answers for later, and save. Supported answers are kept in the respondent’s browser. If they refresh or return in that browser, their draft can be restored. The saved draft is cleared after a successful submission. Uploads and signatures are never stored in the browser draft. The respondent must add them again before submitting.
Drafts stay on that device and browser. A person who switches devices, uses a different browser, clears site data, or opens private browsing should not expect the draft to follow them.
