Hosted form
Choose a Hosted form when you want the complete form handled for you. Write the questions in the visual editor, choose the design, preview the result, and publish it. You get a public link and embed code. No website or programming is required. This is the right choice for surveys, registrations, applications, feedback forms, order forms, and other forms you want to create from the dashboard. Create your first form →Endpoint form
Choose an Endpoint form when the form already lives—or will live—inside your own website or application. You build the fields and design. Your form—plain HTML, JavaScript, a framework such as React or Next.js, a static site generator, or a site builder like Webflow—sends the answers to the submission endpoint. Responses appear in the same dashboard and can run the same notifications and integrations, so you do not need to build a backend. An Endpoint form does not include the visual editor, a public form page, themes, Preview, Publish, or the Share tab. Create your first Endpoint form →At a glance
You choose the type when creating a form. If you later need the other approach, create a new form of that type and connect the new link or endpoint.
