Open the form, go to Integrations, and choose Google Sheets.
1

Connect your Google account

Approve access in the Google window. You only do this once, and every form can reuse the connection.
2

Point it at a spreadsheet

To have SurveyOwl create a new sheet, enter a Spreadsheet name. To use one you already have, enter its Spreadsheet ID, which is the long string in the sheet’s URL between /d/ and /edit, and the Sheet name of the tab to write to.
3

Save and test

Submit one response and check that a new row appears.
Each row follows your question order, with one column per question. Answers go in as plain text or numbers, so existing formulas and charts keep working. If you change the form’s questions later, submit another test before you rely on formulas that depend on the old layout.
