# Publish and share a form

> Make a form live and share its public link.

Respondents do not need an account. They only need the public link to a published, open form.

## Publish the current draft

Open the form and select **Publish**. If you edit the form later, publish again when you want those changes to appear publicly.

## Copy the public link

Open the **Share** tab and use the copy button beside **Share link**. There's also a QR code button next to it. Paste the link into an email, a message, a social post or a button on your website.

## Test one real submission

Open the public link in a private browser window. Complete the form and then check **Submissions**. This verifies the live version, not only the draft preview.

If you enabled email notifications or an integration, confirm that the test also arrived there.

  **A public link is not a private invitation.** Anyone who receives the link can open it. Turn on [password protection](/settings/password-protection) if it should only reach a smaller group.
