# Response summary

> See totals, completion rate and answer breakdowns across all responses.

Open a Hosted form and select **Summary**. Endpoint forms don't have this tab.

At the top you'll see the number of **Responses**, the **Completion rate** (responses out of the visits the form received), and a count of questions flagged as **Often skipped**. Below that, each question gets a breakdown that fits its type. Choice questions show the **Distribution of answers**, and Number questions show the **Average**, **Lowest** and **Highest**. Written answers aren't charted, so read those in **Submissions**.

The page updates as new responses come in, and **Refresh** reloads it on demand.

## Reading it well

* Look at the total before you trust a percentage. Sixty percent of five people isn't much.
* Compare percentages with the counts behind them.
* If a question is skipped a lot, check whether it's confusing or whether [page routing](/building-forms/page-routing) meant most people never saw it.
