# Get started

> Create an endpoint, connect your form, and receive a test response.

An Endpoint form receives submissions from a form on your website or inside your application. Responses are stored in the dashboard while you keep control of the page and its design.

## 1. Create the endpoint

In the dashboard, select **New form**, then choose **Endpoint form**. Enter a name that identifies where the submissions come from, such as “Marketing website contact form.”

Select **Generate endpoint & Public Key**. The form is ready to accept submissions immediately—there is no publish step.

## 2. Copy the endpoint URL

The Endpoint form opens on its **General** tab. Copy the **Form endpoint URL**.

This URL is safe to use in browser code. It can accept responses for this form but cannot read responses or access your account.

## 3. Connect your frontend

Choose the guide that matches your project:

* [Plain HTML](/developer-api/html) — submit without JavaScript.
* [JavaScript](/developer-api/javascript) — use `fetch()` and show the result on the page.
* [React](/developer-api/react) — add a reusable React form component.
* Frameworks: [Astro](/developer-api/astro), [Next.js](/developer-api/frameworks/nextjs), [Nuxt](/developer-api/frameworks/nuxt), [SvelteKit](/developer-api/frameworks/sveltekit).
* Static site generators: [Hugo](/developer-api/frameworks/hugo), [Jekyll](/developer-api/frameworks/jekyll), [Eleventy](/developer-api/frameworks/eleventy).
* Site builders: [Webflow](/developer-api/site-builders/webflow), [Framer](/developer-api/site-builders/framer), [WordPress](/developer-api/site-builders/wordpress), [Squarespace](/developer-api/site-builders/squarespace), [Wix](/developer-api/site-builders/wix), [Carrd](/developer-api/site-builders/carrd).

The **General** tab also contains short implementation examples with your form-specific URL already inserted.

## 4. Send a test

Submit the form once, then open **Submissions**. Check that:

* the response arrived;
* each answer has a useful field name;
* your success message or redirect worked;
* errors are shown clearly to the visitor.

If the response does not arrive, follow [Troubleshooting](/developer-api/troubleshooting).
