# Add images, video, audio, and embeds

> Place supporting media and external content inside a form.

## Add an image

Choose **Image** from the block picker. Upload an image or provide a direct image link. You can add alternative text, a caption, and an optional link.

Use compressed images so the form loads quickly on mobile connections.

## Add video or audio

Choose **Video** or **Audio**, then paste the public URL or supported embed link. Preview the form and play the media before publishing.

## Embed other content

Choose **Embed** for public content such as a map, scheduling page, hosted PDF, or another embeddable page. The provider must allow its content to appear in an iframe.

  **Some websites block embeds.** If the preview says the page refused to connect, use the provider's official embed URL or link to the content instead. A form cannot override another website's security policy.

## Keep the form focused

Media should help someone answer. Large videos and complicated embeds can slow the form or distract from the main action, so use them sparingly.
